A chiropractor from Lenawee recently chaired the annual chiropractic summit in Orlando. Dan Spencer has a renowned history in leadership and is also the president of Contact for Health Chiropractic Centers in Hudson and Reading. Dan also served as president of ChiroCongress, an association that champions coordination between chiropractic organizations within the state.

"It is a very exciting time for the chiropractic profession, as our national strategic plan is in the implementation phase," Spencer said during the summit. He also expressed his honor in chairing the summit, which seeks to help more people to benefit from chiropractic care. Spencer served at the Michigan Association of Chiropractors in 2011. He also got a President's Award at the Michigan Association of Chiropractors' annual convention on Sept. 23-25 in Detroit.

Industry Updates

1) New Study: Chiropractic Care Improves Quality of Life and Reduces Low Back Pain More Than Usual Medical Care

A chiropractic study recently concluded that most patients who receive chiropractic care are in a better position to improve the quality of their life and reduce low back pain compared to those who get usual medical care. The study result indicated that out of 750 service members, the ones who visited the Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) reported a reduction in lower back pain and better mental and physical health.

The outcomes were reported within 12 weeks of chiropractic treatment. Christine Goertz, DC, Ph.D., one of the study's principal investigators, affirmed her excitement about the study, which typically confirmed what most chiropractic patients have mentioned, that chiropractic care improves the quality of health. The Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to educating the public about the value of chiropractic care, also applauds the study.

2) American Chiropractic Association Annual Meeting Returns to Washington, D.C., in January

The American Chiropractic Association will hold its first in-person annual meeting in January 2023 at Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C. The ACA’s Engage meeting will create a platform for doctors and students in the chiropractic field to network and advocate for legislation that works for the good of the chiropractic industry. It will also be an excellent opportunity for attendees to learn about new products in the field.

The association also has an election as part of its agenda on the fateful event. The ACA President Michele Maiers, DC, MPH, Ph.D., stated her excitement about holding the annual meeting in person after the hiatus caused by the health restrictions due to the global pandemic. Michele stated that she anticipated the chiropractic community coming together during the summit to grow and become better connected.

The schedule for the 2023 Engage summit is available online, including details for registration for the summit and educational sessions.

Growing Your Practice

1) The 5 Best Chiropractic Personal Injury Marketing Strategies

Like any other sector in the service industry, marketing is essential in keeping chiropractic practice afloat. Chiropractic marketing strategies will help you grow your practice and extend chiropractic care to many people who might require quality health. Consequently, it would be best if you used all your efforts to optimize your marketing strategies. Here are some marketing strategies for chiropractic personal injury practice:

Use SEO to Generate Leads

With the world gone digital, your best shot at finding leads is through the internet. You need to optimize your chiropractic website to rank high on search engine result pages. You can top your website's rank on search engine pages through sufficient keyword research. Make sure you list your business in Google for more leads on local searches.

Create Great Content to Support your SEO Strategy

Optimizing your website is more than just being consistent with publishing blogs. You must upload great content that search engines will love and that users will find helpful when visiting your website.

Create Referral Programs

Creating a referral program is a great way to generate more leads for your chiropractic practice and increase the patient retention rate for existing patients. You can create referral programs by attending Fundraisers to create awareness and hosting contests or giveaways.

Stay Connected to a Trustworthy Personal Injury Lawyer

It is essential to keep your network resourceful to gain prospects for your business. A good personal injury protection lawyer can recommend you to new clients as they have contacts with them.

Get a Professional Personal Injury Specific Website Design

It's never too late to get a website for your chiropractic service. A website optimized to specify your type of practice would suffice. A personal injury-specific website will enable you to target the relevant leads for your practice. It will also make it easy for users and prospective leads to find you.

2) Understanding The PIP Suit Process for Medical Providers

PIP Claim recoveries can be a daunting process for medical providers. Dealing with insurance companies can be a nightmare. You do not have to struggle alone.

The attorneys at Ged Lawyers make the process seamless so you can focus on your work and get paid your dues. Here is a brief review of how our firm handles the PIP suit process for medical providers:

PIP Litigation

Litigation is usually challenging for medical providers, especially because insurance companies are notorious for defaulting payments. Florida drivers pay $10,000 in PIP.

After an accident, the patient signs and transfers the Assignment of Benefits to give legal grounds for medical providers to demand payment. Medical providers are likely to give up when insurance companies default on payment. PIP Recoveries can help you get the most out of your chiropractic PIP claims.

Seamless PIP Claim Reviews

Going through patient records which have hundreds of documents, can be a daunting process. PIP Recoveries makes this process easy by indexing cases and applying an algorithm to identify overdue benefits. Then we submit the claims and handle the entire PIP suit process.

PIP Risk Management

Within 90 days from the treatment date, you can expect our GED lawyers to file an action in court if the claim isn't sufficiently paid. At that point, the insurer risks covering trial costs and attorney's fees. Most cases will settle pre-trial, resulting in prompt payment to your practice.
