What's New in F.L. Chiropractics

Preview: 2022's The National by the Florida Chiropractic Association

The National by FCA, the largest state chiropractic association in the U.S., has continued to adjust to the needs of its attendees, providing them with relevant answers to their concerns. This year, The National is shifting its focus to hands-on practical education, three types of connection, and core inspiration for all. The Nation hopes to redefine the convention's purpose as a connection and education source for thousands of chiropractors.

Variety of Education, Research, and More

The Nation now includes 20 hours of comprehensive instruction. From August 25-28, the Nation will provide high-quality education and networking opportunities as well as nearly 400 booth-expo featuring the newest products and services, allowing attendees to find everything they need quickly. The convention will enable the attendees to explore an array of specialties and have one-on-one conversations with expert speakers.

Staff Team Building

Even though CRT and LMT continuing education credits will be available online this year, the Nation still invites the entire staff to attend the expo. Individuals will still learn new skills they can bring back to the practice.

For instance, CCPAs can earn up to 12 C.E. hours for license renewal, including the required Medical Errors. Additionally, C.A.s who complete The Ultimate CA Track will receive a certificate.

Extra Connections

Aside from excellent education, The National provides an opportunity to relax and reconnect with colleagues. Attendees will have a chance to relax during the massage.

Virtual and Online Education

Those unable to attend in person can participate virtually and earn up to 20 hours of clinical C.E.s recognized in 25 states.

Industry Updates

NCMIC Launches Chiropractic Charity Program for Dc Referrals

NMIC has launched a new initiative to support the chiropractic profession through customer referrals. The Charitable Referral Program debuted this summer and rewards customer loyalty with a charitable donation. If a customer refers a D.C. to NCMIC for business, personal, long-term disability, group term life, or malpractice insurance, NCMIC will donate $25 to a chiropractic charity of their choice. "We can't think of a better way to show our appreciation to new and old customers than to give back to the profession," said A.J. Simpson, NCMIC's vice president of agency operations.

The donations collected from the referral program will go to four charities:

  • The Foundation for Chiropractic Progress(F4CP). This foundation educated the general public about the benefits of chiropractic medicine and its role in drug-free treatment.
  • The American Black Chiropractic Association (ABCA). An association that established the Harvey Lillard Scholarship Endowment Fund to provide financial assistance to deserving, aspiring, and current chiropractic students of color.
  • The Patriot Project provides chiropractic care to active military and their families while ensuring that all active-duty military, retirees, and veterans have access to full benefits.
  • The NCMIC Foundation funds research projects that focus on establishing the cost-effectiveness and safety of chiropractic and alternative health care and invests in the advanced education of chiropractic research experts.

Physical Pain and Mental Health: F4CP Releases New Chiropractic Poll Revealing Increased Connection

According to Harris Poll, over half of U.S. people report physical pain that they feel intensified due to mental or emotional distress. According to a survey commissioned by the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress on physical pain and mental health, Americans in the Northeast face discomfort at a greater rate. According to Sherry McAllister, president of F4CP, managing one problem without addressing the other, is unproductive. According to the Harris Poll, more than half of 18 to 34-year-olds express physical pain that they feel is exacerbated by mental or emotional distress. Younger survey participants are more likely to report a link between worsening physical discomfort and poor mental health.

Women aged 35 to 44 were the most likely to indicate the link (69%), while males aged 65 and older were the least likely to report increased physical pain. According to the Harris Poll, women are more likely than males to report greater pain sensitivity and responsiveness to pain treatment. 49% of survey participants in the northeast area of the United States experienced more physical pain as a result of emotional or mental distress, compared to 40% in the western region. "It is up to the entire healthcare community to not just treat symptoms, but to identify and manage all of the core causes," McAllister says.

Growing Your Practice

Chiropractic Marketing Ideas to Grow Your Practice

You may not reach your target audience if you do not have a solid digital marketing plan. The good news is that having an effective marketing strategy will bring more patients to your office. To get you started, here's a list of chiropractic marketing ideas compiled by WebFX:

Use social media to Promote Your Practice.

Social media marketing is arguably one of the best ways to advertise your practice and, as a result, reach your target audience. Through social media, you will be able to connect with prospects interested in your chiropractic services. The most common social media platforms that you will need to have some presence on include:

  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • Instagram
  • Pinterest
  • LinkedIn

SEO and Email Marketing

Investing in local search engine optimization (SEO) and engaging prospects through email marketing are two chiropractic marketing strategies for developing your business online. Local SEO focuses on increasing your visibility in local searches. At the same time, email marketing allows you to interact with people interested in your profession directly - you can give them information right in their inbox.

Encourage Patients to Write Reviews

One of the best ideas to promote your chiropractic business is to encourage your patients to write reviews. Most people trust recommendations over the brand.

Use PPC Ads to Reach People Looking for a Chiropractor

If you have control over your money, PPC advertising is ideal for your clinic. To run effective PPC advertising, you must first pick keywords to target for your Ad to show in relevant search results. To persuade potential patients to click on your Ad, you need to design appealing Ad language, which can contain Ad extensions.

How Medical Providers Can Maximize PIP Benefits Recovery

Insurance companies often fail to reimburse the cost of your services in treated injured persons. Our Injury Protection (PIP) recovery system can help you deal with insurers and ultimately recoup more money.

We are experts in Florida PIP Claims. When someone is injured in a car accident in Florida, regardless of fault, the insurance company must pay up to $10,000 in benefits through state-mandated PIP insurance. If the insurer denies the claim or underpays, our legal team will investigate files, file claims, and, if necessary, escalate the case to trial.

Partner With Us for Your PIP Claims Recovery

If you own a chiropractic business, partner with us to handle the entire PIP recovery process. Our legal team will help you manage the recovery of unpaid or underpaid medical bills from insurance companies. We handle the work, allowing you to focus on treating your patients.
